United Food and Commercial Workers Union Local 711 is chartered by the UFCW International Union which represents over 1.3 million workers in North America.   The UFCW is one of the largest and strongest private sector unions in North America.

Our Purpose:   To elevate the social and economic status of workers and, further, to advance the principles and practice of freedom and democracy for all.

Our Jurisdiction:     UFCW members work in dozens of industries including :

                         - Retail Food          - Meat Packing Plants       - Chemical and Manufacturing

                         - Food Processing    - Department Stores       -Textile Plants 

                         - Poultry Processing     - Banks     -Healthcare     -Professional Services                   

 In Nevada & Utah, Local 711 serves over 7,000 members, primarily in the retail food and drug industry.
